Burwood Aviation was established in 1992 as a family business serving the commercial aviation industry.  Originally setup to support the hardware and consumale market from a facility in Fairoaks, Chobham, we quickly developed into the rotable market place. This lead to management selling the fasteners business and quickly transforming the business into a recognised stockist of rotable components to support customers with sales, exchanges and loan items from our extensive stock. In 2008 Burwood Aviation moved facilites to a new owned 22,000 sq ft site in Verwood, Dorset. We continue to grow with innovative stratergies and through adding additional quality personel.  Burwood has now advanced to include in its portfolio the purchase of complete airframes for teardown purpose.

We have in recent years and continue to invest in our rotable component pool of stock. We have vast stocks of general aviation accessories/hydraulics/pneumatics/slides etc but recently we have invested heavily in the composites/flying control and surfaces. As pictured below we now cover all the areas highlighted in red being nacelles / thrust reversers / core cowls / fan cowls / slats /flaps /radomes etc everything outside the aircraft from nose to tail.

As one of the Aviation Industries leading support specialists, we have the infrastructure and expertise to ensure that your organisation minimises mechanical related downtime.

To ensure exceptional levels of customer satisfaction, each component is visually inspected upon both receipt and despatch, to ensure compliance with our strict quality standards. Furthermore full traceability is guaranteed on all components, and all rotables are supplied with current EASA/FAR release from approved workshops.
We use fully trained and highly experienced staff, whose sole job it is to deal with Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul issues. We constantly monitor turn-around times to ensure maximum efficiency and all of our components have either FAA form 8130-3 and/or EASA form 1 release certificates.

Our rotables pool of stock is available 24/7 for despatch anywhere in the world we are able to offer unrivalled levels of support to our customers.

Fasteners/Consumables

Burwood Aviation Supplies Ltd originally started in the Aerospace business by supplying quality Aerospace Fasteners and consumables to the Airlines, OEM’s, Repair Facilities and to Brokers. We provided all the fasteners to British Aerospace used in converting the Airbus A300 passenger aircraft into the Airbus A300B4 Freighter conversion at BAe’s Filton Bristol facility, using a bin system comprising of over 2500 individual line items.  Our inventory and capabilities comprise of all the following standards:

We can offer solutions to any customer specific requirement, from individual specialised products to consignment stock solutions, or call off drip feeding on bulk ordering. We also offer tailor made kitting programmes on any components specific to the customers requirement, this can be anything from 5 parts to 500, based on your bill of materials. This can be ordered and supplied under the customers kit number with full trace on all the individual kit items.

All consumable material supplied is Factory New with OEM certificates and test reports if available at no extra cost to the customer. Full trace would also be provided.
